Q's Visit to the Land of Lincoln

This weekend, we took Quinn on his first road trip to Illinois to attend his cousin's first communion. Don and I officially joined the slew of parents out there that have taken to driving through the night in an attempt to keep babies on schedule. Ugh! is all I can say about that.

Our trip was less than 24 hours long - we drove down Friday night, arriving at 1:30 a.m. and drove back Saturday night arriving here at home at 1 a.m. Phew! So far, I think we succeeded in keeping Quinn on his schedule, but man, are we tired!

Although it was short, we had a great time with our family! We enjoyed watching Quinn meet all of his cousins and Bridget was beautiful in her communion gown.
