Q's First Thanksgiving...at home

We are quickly learning that no matter what plans we make, Quinn will decide where we go and what we do. We were planning on heading to Chicago for Thanksgiving, but Quinn started in on a fever on Monday and we went downhill from there. Don braved the grocery store on Wednesday and we cobbled together a quiet Thanksgiving dinner (which is way more difficult to make with a cranky 9 month old in the house than I thought!) for just the three of us at home in Minnesota. We missed spending time with Teri, Tom, Karen and the kids! :(

I'm very happy to report that Quinn loved the mashed potatoes! He is, indeed, my son!

We are thankful to be part of such a wonderful family! We hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!

Quinn never tires of his choo-choo train! Doesn't he look great in his new outfit from Granny and Grandpa Great?

Watching a little of the Thanksgiving Day Parade

Quinn has discovered his shelf of books. He loves to stand and pull them off one-by-one. We did some reading together before bed.

Although it was not what you planned - looks like a nice Thanksgiving weekend at the Sandersons :) mom
