Ohh, So Close...

As many of you know, Quinn has been holding out on saying "Ma Ma" to me. He says Da Da, truck, dump truck - and yes, he even can say garbage! - but not Ma Ma!

Well, a few weeks ago, he all of a sudden starting saying the Ma Ma sound but not really directing it at me. I told myself to be patient, it will come. Not so much.

Just this week, he's decided to use the sounds Ma Ma to refer to lawn mowers. Literally, as I write this, he's pointing out the back window to our neighbor mowing the lawn and saying Ma Ma!

Gaaaaahhh!! So unfair! Things with wheels and engines seem to win out every time!

You're probably right! It's just so hard to imagine when I am clearly second fiddle to his trucks, cars and lawn mowers! :)

Hey - having a son who is fixated on the lawn mower is not a bad thing.

That boy has a strange fascination with lawnmowers! Maybe he's just going to start calling you "mother" at some point...
