We arrived this morning at our destination at 5:30am. Remarkably, neither one of us know how we actually got here. We don't recall driving or flying. It is as if we just "woke up" and were on vacation in Woodbury MN. Nonetheless, we walked through out the cottage and checked everything out. The owners must have a son about Quinn's age because they had a lot of similar toys laying around...in fact they were exactly the SAME toys - it is amazing! Who are these people? Either way, it is great for Quinn as he quickly got busy playing.
Stephanie is battling a cold - never fun when you are on vacation (or pregnant) but we are hopeful it will clear up before the week gets to far along.
It is hot here in Woodbury today. I would never have thought the sun could get this hot in the North...who knew? But it is. So we decided to stick around at the cottage and take advantage of the nice pool they have here. Quinn enjoyed the pool but then decided it was time to explore his surroundings in this strange, new place.
All in all, a great day and we feel as comfortable here as we do at home...that is until Kayla ate the raw chicken we were planning to grill for dinner. Darn mutt.
