Maisie is the best. She's so sweet and mellow. She hardly makes a sound and is just beginning to spend more time awake in between feedings. When she's awake she sort of looks around with these big round eyes and takes in her new world. While feedings are still every three hours round the clock, she's really good about going right back to sleep at night.
Quinn is another story. I'm not sure if it's all the change that's happened in his life these last few weeks, or maybe this is what being an 18-month old is all about, but Quinn is developing his sense of independence and oh my, does he have a strong will. He's gotten pretty picky about what he's eating at meals, and daily transitions like coming inside, or stopping playing to eat dinner or go to bed are interesting to say the least. :) Despite all that, he's having fun playing with his Nana and is mildly interested in this new baby in the house. He likes to pat her on the head and he even offered her his banana at breakfast. And, that's a big deal. Bananas are his all time favorite food!

Getting to know NanaB
Today, all Quinn would eat for breakfast was cottage cheese. He was so interested in it, he knocked over the big jug itself and got his little hands in there. I guess he's claimed his own carton. :)

You will have it all under control in no time! Maisie AND Quinn will mature just a little bit each day. Plus, Aunt Nizzle is coming to do lots of cuddling in October. It will all work itself out. ; )
